Not too long ago, I was living a life of comfort with the desire deep down to change my life, elevate my circumstances and reveal my true talents to the world in serving others.
I secretly prayed and wished for change. Something to ignite and light the fire in me that was dimming by the day.
But I was afraid to change my life. I was afraid I would lose my comforts and have to start over again.
So I did nothing and it secretly ate at me.
The funny thing about God, Source, The Universe, whatever you wish to call whatever you believe in is that you have to be careful what you wish for because you will receive it.
And that change I asked and prayed for came in the form of a text from a friend. He told me to meet him at a bar to hear about a wild adventure that became a life-changing experience.
I listened to him share every detail and nuance of his adventure and the transformation that took place.
He looked happier. He looked free. He was in the pure joy of living life now and pursuing a greater one simultaneously.
Everything he was feeling and experiencing during that conversation was what I wanted for the longest time.
The story of his adventure came with an opportunity.
It was an invite from not just him, but the universe to do something about my desires once for all and break free of my mediocrity.
And man, I am so glad I took that!
I share this story on this week’s episode of the Live Your Truth Now Podcast and the lessons I learned to help you break free of your mediocrity.
If you desire more out of your life, this episode is for you!
